what happen to my movie library?
after d/l the latest version of the iTunes software - I now no longer see my movie library under my movies. Has this happen to anyone else?

It sounds like you are not able to find your movies in iTunes any longer. I know how important those movies are and will certainly try to help you get them back.
There are couple of things to check. The first would be to see if they somehow became hidden. Take a look at these instructions:
Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases
Click on the "Unhide your puchases" button and it will take you to the correct section.
If you still do not see them, you may need to re-download them. To do this, follow this link:
Select the "Movies, TV shows, and music videos" button to be taken straight to the instructions you need.
