access the fotos in a fcpx fcarch file

I use a bridge camera (Sony RX10) and make foto's and video. Everyday after a shoot I backup the SD card to a FCPX camera archive (.fcarch). I use this to import (parts of) the video clips.

But the archive also contains the (RAW) foto' I make. Sometimes 100-200 of them. I make a separate copy of these to disk (using Apple Image capture and copy the RAW files to separate photo-archive directory).

Sometimes I need to access the foto files in the archive - but how can I access the archives outside FCPX for just accessing and using the foto's??

Anybody any idea's - similar challenges.

PS If I know how to do that then I don't have to mak a separate archive for the photo's and only use the farce file...

I just tested and FCP X archive .farch with video, jpeg images and raw images from my Panasonic G7.

All the stuff is on the same card:

The above is showing the FCP X import window, All Clips need to be selected.

Then I created the .farch file on an external drive:

FCP X can access the .farch file and you can import (using the FCP X import window) the whole thing or any seperate clip/photo as required.
