Q: Mac can't connect to time capsule
Resently I had to do a full factory reset on my time capsule in order to set up a new DSL modem. now neither computer, my MacBook Pro or my iMac, can find the time capsule to do back ups. What is the procedure to get my back ups back?
Time Capsule, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

You mentioned that you had reconfigured your Time Capsule to work with a new DSL modem, but made no mention of whether you reset the path that each Mac uses to find the Time Capsule.
If you did not reset the path to find the Time Capsule on each Mac, then each Mac still remembers how to find your Time Capsule on the "old" network, but they do not know how to find the Time Capsule on your "new"network.
Start with the MacBook Pro, and.....
Click the Time Machine "clock" icon at the top of the Mac's screen
Click Open Time Machine Preferences
Click Add or Remove Disk
Under the heading of Backup Disks, click on the disk that you see there to highlight it. The disk will be named "Data" unless you have changed the name of the disk.
Click Remove Disk
Close the window
Restart the MacBook Pro
Click the Time Machine "clock" icon at the top of the Mac's screen
Click Open Time Machine
Click Select Disk or, it might read Add or Remove Disk
Click on "Data", or the name of your disk to highlight it
Click Use Disk
Close the window
Click the Time Machine "clock" icon at the top of the Mac's screen
Click Back Up Now
Wait for the backup to complete
When the backup is complete, repeat the same process above with the iMac
