Q: Insert formula to pop up menu

Hi

I have a pop up menu with five different choices in it. I also have a date next to each choice, I want to basically insert a formula into the pop up menu to say that if it's beyond the date in cell A1 then change the pop up menu choice to one of the options automatically without me having to click it. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

    Hi Rob,

You are asking for what I would call dynamic or self updating popups. Unfortunately, this is not something that Numbers can do. It would be possible to have a nearby cell update according to the current date and the popup choice. If you need help with that, please supply more details.

    Thanks for replying.

I really wanted the pop up to change automatically as I still need the options they provide as well. No problem, maybe in the future.

    Thanks
