I Can't Activate iPhone.

Hello. I hope I will find help here.
While ago I buyed from one guy iPhone 4s to use it as mp3 palyer.
Then this one day I saw that there is new update for my iPhone so I connected it to my pc to update. I know that you can update without pc, but I wanted to do so. And that was my mistake. I don't know why, but after updating it showed me activation screen. Everything would be fine because iPhone didnt had iCloud on it, but there is on but. This iPhone doesn't read any sim cards (Broken). And nowhere I can find info on how I can bypass it. I could fix it but I don't want to spend money. Does someone know how can I solve my problem? Please, I im trying to find answer for several months. 😟
