Bluetooth keyboard(s) no longer typing on iMac

So, I've been using my Apple bluetooth keyboard on my iMac forever. This morning it stops working. The keyboard connects, but can't type. I tried connecting a different BT keyboard, same result, connects, but no input. I've tried restarting, BT on and off, replacing batteries. My USB keyboard works fine. Any suggestions? OS X 10.11.6
