I believe the person means the same as my issue, that after adding a redeem code, the credit does not update on the credit balance in iTunes
The only way i can get the credit to update is to close and reopen the iTunes app about 5 times, and 'view account'
The issue is not a personal issue, its an Apple issue. However, Apple assistants are p[rogrammed to respond as if each person has a personal issue. I assume this to be because it is a policy to never concede that a problem lies with the product, and always with the enduser. However, that is a fallacy,. Sometimes the problem lies with the software, the OS. This is a problem with iTunes, not with the customer's Device
iTunes and Apple Tv and iCloud have updated their systems and even the filing system in the last couple of years, and i can confirm that when we moved to iCloud Drive, this caused a lot of loose ends, not all of which have been fixed. In addition, Apple servers have to process loads of teraflops of data in the iTunes store updating billions of users data all the time.. for sure some stuff is going to end up with crossed wires.
