Q: Problem with Itunes gift card

Someone sent me an itunes gift card via email but whenever I press redeem it takes me to a download page, I already have itunes installed, and am signed into it.

Make sure iTunes is up to date.

Open iTunes.
From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Help > Check for Updates. Learn what to do if you can’t see the menu bar.
Follow the prompts to install the latest version.

Restart your computer after updating iTunes then open that email and click Redeem.

This might vary based on which version of iTunes you have, but for version 12.4, go to Account menu, then Redeem (all the way on the bottom). You can then copy and paste the redemption number from the email.

There is no redemption number on email, it just says "Redeem now", I wish it was that easy though, lol.
