Q: Error message: cannot open this content not authorized

Apple TV (v2) and iPhone (6+) both reporting subject message within Home Sharing. Tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing source computer with no success. Sign in and out of Home Sharing on Apple TV and iPhone also unsuccessful.

 

It used to work prior to the Windows 10 anniversary update. That is the only thing that has changed with regards to the source computer.

 

Any solutions?

    Howdy James!

     

    Thank you for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities in regards to your issue where Home Sharing is telling you that it cannot open the content.  Being able to use Home Sharing is a nice feature to have so let's take a look and get it back to working correctly for you.
