Q: Duplicate text style but change coloring

I like the looks of the 5 color styles offered in text in Keynote. But I want to create many more for the various sounds the letters of the alphabet or combinations of letters make. I've figured out how to change a color. But these seem to need me to 1) tile, and 2) provide an advanced image fill of whatever color I choose.

I have no idea how to create and SAVE these to add to the 6 they provide.

Can anyone point me toward directions in the Apple files, or give me directions? I'm baffled. They look like plain old colors with drop shadows to me. ?

Thanks!

The default fill in Keynote is "advance image fill" which is a grand name for a low quality textured image overlaid with a colour, its so awful I never use it.

You can change the image using any png, TIFF, jpeg gif, pdf, psd filetypes.

Alternatively the fill can be a single colour or a graduated fill:

You can add custom object styles to a single presentation by:

    click the reveal button,

    then click the plus button
