I have a chart or schedule of tasks and am trying to make a sub header for a separate section of tasks.
Numbers will not let me merge cells across to type in the subheader or title for those tasks.
Is there a work around?

Perhaps showing what you have and an example of what you want will help us understand what you are trying to do.
Did you consider using a second table? Numbers can have many tables on the same sheet and they can be lined up nicely
Wayne, I am trying to make a sub heading in the middle where it says SCHEDULE FOR ACTIVITY SETUP by merging the cells into one. I have never made more than one table on a sheet, but if that is what I have to do I could give it a try.
