El Capitan & Edirol PCR A30

Hi - i have used a Edirol PCR-A30 as a digital audio and midi controller in the past few years which has been great but i have recently upgraded to El Capitan and the PCR is now not visible in the Audio Midi Set up utility.

I have installed the latest driver from Roland but still no joy (the driver is only listed as supporting OS 10.6 + so well out of date anyway)

Has anyone come across this issue and are there any fixes out there?

Thanks in advance.

You should contact Roland as they apparently no longer support this product and there was no development for this hardware past 10.6 (and Windows 7 btw) and it's proprietary so other developers can not develop for it legally.

you may be able to use the board with limited functionality in other apps, but here on these Apple forums you are going to have a very limited number users exposed to this device. I have a Roland GP-100 (midi guitar processor) it's a dinosaur but it has it's place in my arsenal, and I have no plans to upgrade despite the fact Roland has long given up on the GeeP, however I have found support through outside users groups dedicated to this product.
