How to reset my Photo Stream in Photos?

Hi,

My Photo Stream is severely incomplete, blocking at 160 photos, when there are more that 500 in the last month. I tried to turn My Photo Stream off and then back on (both in System Prefs -> iCloud -> Photos, and in the Photos.app prefs), but I get the sam 160 photos back.

Is there a way to restart from scratch? Or maybe a way to manually add the photos I would like to have there to share with my other devices?

Synchronizing my whole Photos library on iCloud is not an option (>180Gb...)

I know that only photos from last month have a chance to show up. But if there are 500 such pictures, why are only 160 of them showing up? Pictures taken 2 days ago, and imported in my library, are missing from the stream...

Could it be that insufficient bandwidth or battery at importing time, are blocking the upload to iCloud, and then the imported pictures are forgotten forever?
