i have a macbook pro and recently my charger hasn't been taking a charge and i keep getting popups of things that want a password every time i reboot my computer. is there a reliable virus scan software that can help or should take it in to get fixed?

What kind of passwords were being asked for? You may have three problems: charging, adware/popups and password problems
well my charger doesn't work any more so i know now that ill have to buy a new because my old one is cracked. as for my computer issues i get blackouts every half hour or so. i get random pop ups everytime after i reboot and login. the questions are random its almost like a question allowing someone to use your wifi. are there any good spyware that i can get to see if i have a virus or hacker?
