Q: iMac trackpad takes forever to wake
When I put my iMac to sleep,I have issues with Apple Trackpad after waking.
I can wake still wake the iMac by clicking the trackpad, but when the computer wakes I have no curser response from the trackpad. It's like it's disconnected (but it's not). It still will wake the iMac from sleep and I don't get a "disconnected" message on the iMac upon waking.
If I wait 30 seconds to a minute, the trackpad functions normally. But I never get a "disconnected" or "connected" message for the trackpad at all.
Any solutions/ideas?
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

*** Solved... Battery indicator in settings was saying that the trackpad had 66% battery life left. I removed the batteries and put a meter on them. They had about 10% left. Problem solved with a fresh set of batteries.
Lesson learned, don't trust the iMac battery level indicator.
