After update to IOS 9.3.4, several documents in Pages won't open. They appear as icons showing a pen. When I tap, I get a message that they're being updated --- after several days! They are generally older documents from 2015 and 2014 that worked fine with previous iOS. I'm beginning to think Apple updates are just not worth the trouble they ALWAYS cause.

only SOME documents won't open. I suspect they might be formats that Pages used to support but now doesn't ---accidentally? Or glitch in 9.3.4 update And possibly 9.3.3, too. I have latest Pages version.
On my iPod 5, with 9.3.3, some documents not opened on iPad are open on the iPod. And vice versa, documents that will open on iPad are not opening on iPod.
When I try to move any of the documents (unopenable, with ".pen" icon), I get a message "can't move" "document is updating" --- but they never update even when Pages left open and wifi connected for hours.
