I have photos on my iphone in the camera roll that have not been imported by the photos app please help basically out of 1112 photos on my iphone only 396 have been imported to my MAC
iPhone 5c, iOS 9.3.4
We can not see you so you have to provide us with details - what version of teh OS and of Photos do you have> How exactly step by step are you "importing" your photos?

Hi Larry thanks for getting back to me I'm using OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 app Photos 1.0.1
Connecting my 5c to the Mac Photos automatically opens and asks if you want to import I clicked on import all but it only imported 396 of the 1112 photos in my camera roll.

1 - you are six updates behind - the current software is OS X 10.11.6 adn Photos 1.5 and there have been many bug fixes and lots na dlots of new features in teh intervening updates - it would be a good idea to get up to date although it may or may not be the issue here
2 - what processing or editing has been done on them on the iPhone using what software?

I will try and do the updates and see what happens.
But the photos have not been modified or edited in any way.
