Where are the iBooks physically located now?

Question

Where are the iBooks physically located now?

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks

IS the location that keeps being referenced, however now instead of books being there there are three SQLite files and no books. I am not using iCloud because that is not an option for me. (I had enabled it previously and there are still a few books still out there, but not being accessed.)

so the question is this: where are the books now? Over 2,000 books and pdfs which I sync with my 256GB iPad Pro but I need to access the actual files outside of iBooks and can't find them. Or, are they no longer stored in an iBooks library (which by the way Sierra in another partition, cannot find either) and just referenced in some hidden SQLite DB?

I Get no answers from anyone that has been helpful. TIA for any help.

That file path is still where my iBooks files are stored (El Capitan).

Is it possible you never migrated your files from iTunes to iBooks and they're still stored in the iTunes folder?

Did that as soon as iBooks was released, eons ago. They're all in El Cap in my user somewhere.

are three SQLite files, no books

In Sierra I did a full migration using Migration Assistant of my user and iBooks can't find any library there and reset does nothing.

and in /Users/~/library/containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/data/Documents/iBooks/book s/Books.plist

is just the plist file which contains nothing useful

Check the iTunes folder anyway. Nothing to loose...
