Install Software Updates via Single User Mode

Hey everyone,

I accidentally restarted by Macbook while it was doing some software updates. I restarted the Macbook because the screen went black. Now it wont turn on. Ive tried safemode but no luck. I was able to boot into single use mode but i dont know if its possible to install software updates via terminal.
