Q: podcast doesn't show in connect?

Aug 22, 2016 1:51 PMby Roger Wilmut1,I'm not sure how Podcasts Connect works in this situation, but the fact that you are getting the email acknowledging submission each time suggests that the process isn't working properly. It's possible that there's a temporary glitch going on - these are unusual but not unknown. I should leave it a day or so, then try again. If the same thing is happening you should contact Support and explain in detail what is happening. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page.

Aug 23, 2016 5:58 PMby SonicGT,So not sure but now I am at least getting a reply saying there was an error with the podcast, but it wont tell me the error and I can resubmit multiple times and same error.
I have validated my xml with the validator they indicate and fixed all errors and it says its fine. I have also tested my podcast in itunes and can play and download the podcast.
Any thoughts?

Aug 24, 2016 11:09 AMby Roger Wilmut1,The feed works when subscribing in iTunes, and is validated by FeedValidator. CastFeedValidator couldn't resolve the URL - no idea why not. I was able to validate it in Podcasts Connect where it said 'Prepared for Submission' - so possibly if you try again it might work.
However your feed is missing the declaration which should form the top line:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
This may or may not matter - it evidently doesn't bother FeedValidator or the iTunes application. It's worth putting it in. Make sure it really is the first thing in the feed - there must be nothing whatever before it.
