First go to the View ➙ Metadata menu and check of all items offered:

Now if you want the file name to be displayed under the thumbnails use the following Applescript from the Photos for Mac User Tips section: Script: Batch Changing the Titles to the Filename w/Extension.


You can download a compiled version of the script as an application from this tutorial site: P01 - Applescripts from Photos’ User Tips Compiled as Applications.


There are a number of Applescripts for changing the title (under the thumbnail image) to different formats if the file name isn't what you want. One that I use frequently is Batch Change Title to Text w/Padded Sequential No.
