Q: I want to disable ALL notifications from the Apple Wireless Keyboard due to false low battery notifications

Short:

I want to kill all notifications regarding my Apple Wireless Keyboard because the OS is falsely reporting low-battery Notifications.

Detailed:

Since Mavericks, I've had an issue that some others have experienced when using my Apple Wireless Keyboard with my MacBook Pros. The model keyboard is a 2011 revision. The low battery indicator on the keyboard is incorrectly reporting, resulting in many low battery notifications that are annoying as can be. This issue is made worse when using NiMH batteries because they run at a lower voltage, but the issue is still present even with standard alkaline batteries.

This is not an issue with the keyboard, and it is not an issue with the computers it is being used with. It was also not an issue with 10.8, but appeared during 10.9, and has persisted through 10.10, 10.11, and now Beta Sierra. For a while, I reverted back to 10.8 because of the environmental waste, but now that is no longer an option. My guess is that some change was made that is resulting in battery polling being done while under a higher load, which obviously means the polling will result in a lower read voltage, and the OS is may still be assuming that polling is done during a lower load & hence the temporarily lower voltages under load = false low battery alert. Regardless, there's nothing left to troubleshoot.

As I can find no way to disable keyboard-related notifications only, I am hopeful someone knows of a method or a program to kill keyboard-related notifications. I do not want to disable all System Notifications, or all Notifications in-general.
