I deleted icloud from my iphone 4s. Storage must still be connected to icloud somehow. I have 38 photos and have deleted all apps and other storage I don't need. Message says I can't take more pics because storage is full. In 'Manage Storage" my device is not listed. Now what?

Just to be clear, when you go to:
Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage
there are normally two types of storage listed, 1) STORAGE for the physical storage on your phone and 2) ICLOUD for the storage your iCloud account is using. If you "deleted iCloud" then all you have left is the physical storage on your phone. Tap "Manage Storage" under STORAGE and it will show you the storage your phone is using & available and how much each app is using.

You may see that the figures don't add up to what the message is stating. You might add up all of the storage on the device and think that you should have more space available. It could be that your space is being taken up by "other" data on your phone. You can not see this on the device itself, you can only see it when connected to iTunes on your computer.

Here is a user tip that was written by Kappy.
Under "General" the next button says "Storage & iCloud Usage"
Then:
Used 4.8 GB
Available 292 MB
Manage storage
So even if it says " Cloud Usage" iCloud is truly deleted?
