Q: Beats Warranty/Apple care?

So last year on on my birthday of July 28. I bought a Macbook air and had a promotion to pay an extra 100 dollars for the gold solo 2 wireless headphones. I called today because of I have a problem with my beats right side and the customer service told me its a one year protection, I said, "okay well, I bought $200 protection plan the same day as my Mac and doesn't that cover my headphones as well, since I always buy protection plans for all my apple devices, The apple watch, mac, etc." Apple owns beats, so how is their a coverage or protection plan for one year that wasn't clearly mentioned or at least offered to be extended when I was checking out online on the bestie of last year. I would have bought that if it existed. I carefully said to a customer representative, so if I called 20 days before i had this problem with my headphones. I would have been in warranty that was never explained to me in the first place. I called twice and another customer representative told me it says it in the box. That was very helpful because in small wording I looked and found it. I just don't understand why my beats don't have apple care plan for that specific product or else i would buy it. Please Apple do a better job on displaying the warranty on those headphones and make a protection plan/apple care for it. I am going to have to buy some new headphones in couple months, probably going try the

Beats Studio Wireless Over-Ear Headphones - Gold, but just a little worried about their warranty plan and repair system.
