Q: **iPod hardware/software** 5th generation very low battery error
I have an iPod 5th generation with an error that's occurring where it wont turn on. When it's not plugged in, it shows the apple logo without an illuminated background and then turns off. When it's plugged into the wall it shows the same thing, then a sad face saying to go to support.apple.com and then reboots and does the same thing. When it's plugged into the computer, which is what I'm doing to connect it to iTunes to restore it, it does the same thing except when it "reboots" it first says 'very low battery, charging.' I did some work to it in which I removed the hard drive because it was skipping songs and other errors. I replaced it with the well known flash card upgrade so I did the zif-cf-sd card adapter. This started happening after I swapped this out so I figured it was the battery so I purchased a brand new one. It's not the battery. Not only that, but I put the old hard drive back into the iPod and the error persists. Could it be the logic board? God I hope it is not the logic board because I already replaced it!!
Please help, I know this is a complicated issue but anyone with some advice would be greatly appreciated. The iPod is out of warranty.
Thanks!
