Q: iTunes card cancellation

I just got an iTunes gift card and when I plug in the numbers and letters and hit submit or whatever it says, it says that the gift certificate entered has been cancelled. I haven't even used it yet! Help!

The message is that it's been 'cancelled', not that it hasn't been activated properly ? Have you tried going back to the store that you bought it from ? If they can't / won't help try contacting iTunes Support, use the 'contact us' link at the bottom right of every page on here - they are likely to want to see images of the front and back of the card and its receipt
