Trackpad/cursor freezing after sleep...help

Is anyones trackpad/cursor freezing after Macbppk Pro 2014 sleeps (or book screen) is closed? I now have to hard-start my machine with the start button every time the computer sleeps for more than just a few minutes...which is frustrating and should be embarrassing for Apple.

Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?
