Q: Some of my Appointments in Calendar are not all syncing to my iPhone 6 Plus from my iMac while others are. Why?

I've noticed that some of my Appointments in Calendar are not all syncing to my iPhone 6 Plus from my iMac while others are.

However, I can create an event on my iPhone, using a Calendar that won't sync from the iMac to the iPhone, and it works.

What can I do to fix this?

I was thinking it had something to do with the colors assigned to the calendars. But if I set-up a "new" calendar using the color I didn't think was working, it works. Seems like some Calendars have gotten corrupted.

Can individual Calendars get corrupted and not others?

All devices are up-to-date. iPhone 6 Plus - iOS 9.3.4; iMac - OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

    Well hey there ImaScrapperGirl!

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Words cannot express how heavily I rely on my calendars syncing between my iPhone and my Mac. I know exactly what you're experiencing here, as I've been through it myself. Calendars are saved in two ways. You can either save an item directly to your device or sync the calendar with an email service like iCloud or Gmail etc. I prefer to sync with iCloud. You're spot on with those colors and calendars. Essentially, you'll want to ensure that each calendar that's listed in the Mac, is also appearing in your iPhone's Calendar app. Each time you create a new event, you'll want to hand select the specific Calendar or "Color" that corresponds to the same account on your phone. Personally, I enjoy setting up a "Default Calendar". This allows me to use one main calendar and I can hand select specific ones on a case by case basis. Have a peek over this resource which will help get those all up to date:

Keep your Calendar up to date with iCloud
