I see that you're unable to update the SampleTank 2 application for your iPad Pro. I know it's important to keep everything up to date, so I'm happy to help.
To address the issue, I'd recommend that you delete the app from your iPad, then redownload it from the App Store to get the latest version. Keep in mind that deleting the app will remove any app data associated with SampleTank 2, so it may be best to create a back up first if you'd like to preserve that app data.

Aug 23, 2016 7:00 PM in response to chris_g1by halfcack,Unfortunately, it's not as simple as that although it could be. I have purchased almost the whole catalog available for ikMultimedia. All Sound, Guitars and Basses, Grid, Electro keyboard, Jimi Hendrix, everything hand chosen.
I'm afraid it's a more serious problem than you are saying. Throwing to help people with the latest issue of soft restarts, trying to update it by pressing the update button several time cause the restart problem to reappear. I would like t take your word for it but I just can't. Seeing how these people are suffering, getting replaced hardware up to four time, I can't join in with that madness.
Something isn't right somewhere. I've read other people's comments on how it didn't work as well. I have more than enough room for the download, over half of my usual 128 gig. So, there is something wrong on Apple's end. I have a good relationship with IK and contacted them firs at I was sure it would be required of me. They can not understand it and the nine I have owned this problem has never occurred.
I just can't be drawn into just do this with no name to go back to and a guarantee that the App Store is not malfunctioning. It started to lose logo's of apps. So, unless you can give me a concrete solution of a guaranteed this will work, it won't until Apple is ready to fix and release it. Since this's so befuddling to IK, I have given them screen grabs of all. So, no offense but I will wait until there is a solid answer. 9.3.3 and the additional 9.3.4 has fixed the soft restart problem, at least for me but many people, one of whom I happen to believe for some unknown reason had good points, was polite and not aggressive as this message should me.
I was told early on, there is no deletion possible from iCloud ever. Everything you load is kept and nothing deleted so I would just be making huge problems in addition to the one that exists. Since I have double paid for this app initially but was resolved, I feel there is some sort of payback due me, even yet. I can not take those chances again.
Please keep this case open until a real form of replacing what I have in pieces all over the place and some not even existing in the App Store I have to have a solid answer.

Anything you need is available and I am happy to co-operate or another possibility is to be refunded the entire amount of my invoices for said product then elimination from the App Store which has happened before so there is history, then we could try the purchase of the huge upgrade in quality for a company I will only use from now on. I believe this is the best way for now, if you agree please contact me and we can work on a way to implement the plan.

I've done all the turning off, tuning on stuff.
It was told to me a long time ago, digital works or doesn't and throughout the years and years of beta testing I've found it true.
I'm being flagged again for some purpose. It will not update from any link. Apple controls everything that I've found that's why I don't get angry if I could to begin with.
It's a childish game they love to play. I don't care to participate.
Anyway, what happens, I call them, they tell me to call you, you tell me to call them, they tell me to call you. It's happened too many times.
It is just like children.. I too old to understand childish games.
I triple save all my projects, I always have. What they want me to do is delete the app and download the app by restoring the pad from iCloud.
It doesn't work that way and it's another lie. The apps free or paid that are downloaded are there forever. They may be hidden but that's the deal.
There are special times when Apple will go in and delete an app from your cloud or wherever they are stowed and when you go to download the app is not there anymore.
Why can't people tell the truth anymore, it's such a simple life.
The next step I ask, you for a refund. You tell me apples is responsible for refunds. They send me to you and say only the manufacturer can refund purchases on software.
Please don't make me walk you through this any more than I have. It is extremely wearisome.
Hopefully this clears it up. It revolves around fraud. We have stringent laws in NYS regarding fraud. The worst case, a judge, senile, sent a mother to prison for bouncing a check.
I bought SampleTank twice. In NY where the purchase was made, you can not rename a product and make people pay for it twice. I bought many sound packs as well.
The bank in NY understand the fraud laws well. Sometimes they will get really close to the line but will never cross it. This was a clear cut case of fraud. My second purchase of SampleTank was disputed and refunded,
As children, they did all the things I told you before. Pickens up their marbles and went home. With NYS law, it doesn't work that way.
They want their 19.95 back which is extortion on top of fraud. Also, in the balance, can I trust the 30 day return privilege on my pre-ordered iLoud mini's?
I believe this is between IK and Apple.

i Just took the steps to check what would happen if I followed the advice above.
SAmpleTank has already been eliminated from my account. 19.95
all sounds has been eliminated, 39.95
GUitars and basses, eliminated
jimi Hendrix amplitude, eliminated
sampletank purchase fre is there though.
absolute truth is necessary. my bank saw the fraud aspect as regards NYS. To eliminate all my purchases adds extortion in NYS.
CReating a fraudulent record, a felony, state and federal.
crossing state lines, RICO
fraud and Exton by wire, felony.
i am sure I am flagged since the bank saw the fraud accepted the double charge as did two apple reps.
you can't have everything in the world.
SOrt this out with IK, I have done my due diligence. Duly noted.
