Q: PC couldn't recognize my IPOD shuffle 4th Gen with voice over.

As mentioned, its not being detected by my PC. Not even a month since i bought this product and its showing an abnormal behavior. Charges fine when connected to PC. For the first time it was detected and i had synced few songs and its been a month and i couldn't change them because of device not being detected. Tried official technical support and went to near by service center, when they had connected in their MacBook it got recognized. On the same day when i tried to connect to my PC win-8,it took nearly 15min to show in the devices.And when i ejected it from itunes, the issue is back. It wont connect thereafter. Tried with different PC's and MacBook as well. But no use. Whenever its plugged to an USB it charges fine, songs being played with no issues (not through itunes ), but not recognized by any PC.

I had tried - reinstalling/ reset and connect back to back/

And planning to take it again to the service center this weekend. Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

Hey there TejaRavi!

I'd certainly want to have my iPod working normally with iTunes and playing correctly. We can try out a few things.

Let's make sure your PC has the latest iTunes version first: Get the latest version of iTunes - Apple Support
Then check out this article for devices not showing up: If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the reply. I had the latest iTunes on my machine and I can say that confidently, since when I connect my iPad Air2 it shows. And even i tried everything in the article and on several other machines as well but it's of no use. It just charges fine but it is not detected. Anyway this time when I go to service centre I will take my PC as well. Let's see what service people have to say on this.

Gave it to service center, thank god this time, the problem happened in front of the service guys, for the first time it got detected, and when tried in some other PC it wasn't. Since it's still in warranty they took it for servicing. Hope they will fix it.
