Q: iCloud Drive backup for apps does not work
iPhone 6
Version 9.3.4 (13G35)
64 GB
iCloud Total free space: 127 GB
Hi,
My iCloud Drive for backing up data for any app (example; Whatsapp, TurboScan, etc) does not work at all, for all it always ask me to check in the settings of iCloud Drive if the toggle is set to on for the app I intend to use, which it is.
I already did this:
Toggle off and on the iCloud Drive and for each app I was trying
Log out and in of the iCloud Account
Reset phone
Turn off and on
Have anyone faced this issue or have any idea how to solve it?
Many thanks in advance for the feedback and support.
Cheers,
Dom

Just to be clear, iCloud Backup & iCloud Drive are essentially two separate things.
This may be helpful, iCloud is primarily a synchronization service. Meaning it can take the changes you make on one device and update other devices with that change so you don't have to do it on each device individually. Convenient if you have more than device. iCloud Drive is the term used for the part of iCloud that can sync files between your devices, much like Dropbox. iCloud Backup is the actual data backup part of iCloud. The sync services are not backups, just a way for your data to get to another device.
On your iPhone, if you go to:
Settings > General > Srorage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under iCloud) > [Your Phone] (under BACKUPS)
You will see what data is being backed up for each App (Tap "Show All Apps" if necessary).
For iCloud Drive issues, this article may help:
Get help using iCloud Drive - Apple Support
If that doesn't help, try to rephrase your question with exactly you are having problems with and ask again.
