Q: MBP - bluetooth issues when waking from standby
I've seen a few issues in the discussions but nothing that seems to match my problem.
Issue:
It seems to occur if i leave my Macbook Pro on standby and not on charge overnight. When I wake the laptop up none of my bluetooth devices work despite them saying they are connected. If I try to interact with the bluetooth option in either the toolbar or system preferences (i.e. attempting to reconnect), i just get a spinning beach ball.
If I then attempt to restart or shut down the laptop it will always freeze on a black screen just before completing what it's supposed to do causing me to have to hold the power button to force it to turn off and then turn it back on again.
Hardware:
MBP Retina 15 - Mid 2015
El Capitan 10.11.6
Any ideas?
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
