About finding stolen iphone by imie or close it for ever

Hallo there iam travel for turism and somebody steel my iphone i try to track his locTion but he swetched off the mobile , and i make repord to the police here but i dont think so they r helpful , so how can i find it by imie or at least close the phone for ever
