Save it to where? For what purpose? As long as  you don't delete it, it should remain in your email. You can move it to a folder by tapping on the folder icon at the bottom of the screen while viewing the email. You could also copy and paste it to Notes, take a screen shot that would be in your Photos. You could forward it to a note service such as Evernote.

I don't use iCloud mail, but if you are using iCloud mail, I assume that the emails are saved on the server unless you delete them.

THere here is no way to save an email from the mail app to iCloud otherwise unless you copy the body of the email and paste it into an app that works with iCloud such as Pages or Documents by Readdle.

If you have an IMAP email account, create another folder and place the emails in that folder. Tap on the your email account. Tap on Edit at the top of the window. Tap New Mailbox at the bottom. Name the new mailbox. Save the mailbox. Tap the email to open it. Tap the file folder icon above the email message. Move the email to the new mailbox.

Thanks Meg. I'd like to move the email to my ICloud Drive just like I do other attachments I receive. I want it in a file I can access and forward to others.

You can do that from the mail program. No need to save the email anywhere else. Just don't delete the email. Put it in a folder, if you want.
