Finder iCloud showing all image files in preview folder

Hello there,

I have been searching the answer on the internet, but couldn't find it. Probably using the wrong search terms.

Anyhow, I hope someone here can help me. In finder on OSX El Capitan the iCloud drive is subdivided by some app folders. Like preview, numbers, pages etc, I also got a self made folder called "My iCloud Documents" (probably gonna be obsolete with macOS Sierra since I read Sierra will sync "My Documents" with iCloud automatically). I have some files specifically stored in the preview folder, but when I open other images stored somewhere in the "My iCloud Documents" with preview, afterwards they show up in the Preview folder in iCloud with a suffix in a thinner font saying "In iCloud drive". (Only in Finder, not online or on iOS)

I get the idea why and how it works, but it annoys me, making it a lot more chaotic. Is there anyone here who knows a way of stopping finder to do this?

I hope I made myself clear.

Kind regards,
