Q: iPhone 6 has no volume in am

I have an iPhone 6 iOS 9.3.4 model MG502LL/A AT&T with 64 GB and 30 GB available. I have Do Not Disturb feature enabled from 23:00 to 07:00. In the AM I have a repeated problem with no volume (this occurs after 07:00) and no features will have sound. I always test a video and no sound comes out. Phone is not on vibrate mode and slider always shows volume is on. I can get volume back by rebooting the phone every time this occurs. Any suggestions would help.

    Hello there, mfein!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having an issue getting the phone to have volume after Do Not Disturb is not on. I know how important it is to be sure sounds are working properly at all times. Rebooting is a great step and since you are able to get the phone to work after the restart, I would suggest starting by trying to Reset All Settings on the iPhone by going to Settings> General> Reset. Just keep in mind this will remove Wi-Fi and VPN passwords and settings, so you'll need to be sure you have passwords and settings to reconnect to them. Also, the reset will not delete personal information such as photos or contacts. Test the issue and if that doesn't solve the issue, there could potentially be an issue with the software.

Check out these articles for steps to install a fresh version of the operating system to the iPhone from your computer:

    1. Check out this article for the steps for How to backup your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
    2. Use this article for the steps to Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings.
    3. Once that is done, set the phone up as new and test the phone to see if the issue is still going on. Then, follow this article to Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

    Cheers!
