Q: Problem with Win 7 installation on El Capitan

I've got iMac 27' mid 2010, OSX 10.11.6.

I had Win 7 installed, but I decided to enlarge the bootcamp size. So I deleted the partition via BCA and tried to re-install Win 7.

The problem is that my optical drive is dead. So I tired to use the external drive. BCA allows me to create the partition and download drivers, but after the restart I see "no bootable device found; insert one and press any key" error.

I used burned iso (from MS site) and the original Win 7 disk, however the result is the same.

The only way I see is to downgrade to Mountain Lion and install Win 7. Then upgrade again to EC.
