I understand that you're having some difficulty syncing your iPod nano with iTunes on your computer. I know it's very important to get this feature working so that you can get the most out of your iPod!
Are you receiving any specific error messages when you sync? If you haven't already, I'd suggesting restoring the software on your iPod nano back to factory settings before trying again. You can do this by selecting the device icon from the top of iTunes, then choose "Restore iPod" on the summary screen for the device. Once the iPod is finished restoring, try syncing again to see if the problem persists.
