Q: Group MMS on iPhone
I've recently started working in a group assignment, and a couple others are Android users. The primary person to start the group has an iPhone, but I've found that I am not receiving the messages as a group MMS as I should be on my iPhone. I get all the messages individually as if they are only messaging me, including the replies. Interestingly enough though, on my MacBook and iPad which are linked to my iPhone, I get the messages as an MMS group. Has anyone else had this problem/figured out how to resolve this? I know it's not that important, but it would be easier to have access to the group MMS on my phone as well. Thanks!

First, see the section "Group SMS" this article:
Send a group message on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
where it says "when you send a Group SMS, all responses are sent as individual text messages and the recipients can’t see the other responses from the group". Also, the article says that Group MMS messages go through your carrier instead of Apple. If you don't see an option to turn on MMS Messaging or Group Messaging on your iPhone, contact your carrier. Maybe this also applies to received messages. You might also be interested in the "SMS" section of this article:
