Does MS Office 2007 work with OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

No. MS Office 2007 is a Windows only product.

Office for Mac 2008 works more or less. There are some issues as I understand. I can't test it as I no longer run that version.

Office for Mac 2011 runs fine for the most part so long as you apply all of the updates available from MS.

Office for Mac 2016 is the current version. I've been running it for quite a while on El-Cap with no problems at all.
