Apple does not recommend performing Time Machine backups with their Time Capsule (TC) via a wired-only connection, so you basically have a couple of choices:

    1. (Recommended) Connect the TC to the Netgear router by Ethernet. Configure both the TC and the Netgear into a roaming type network.
    2. Connect the TC to the Netgear router by Ethernet. Reconfigure the TC as a bridge and disable its wireless radios. FWIW, I use my TCs in this fashion and I have, as yet, had any issues with Time Machine, but again, this configuration would not be recommended by Apple.
