Q: how do I download photos from the cloud

I am trying to download my photos from the cloud, but have had no success. Can anyone help?

    If you are using iCloud Photo Library (Settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photo Library) all of the iCloud photos would normally already be on your phone as well as in iCloud.

     

    If you don't have that setting turned on, your photos may not be in iCloud except possibly as part of an iCloud backup. A backup can only be used to do a complete restore of an iOS device or to set up a new iOS device.
