How do you delete a faded out app from an iphone?

There's a faded out app on my iphone that I'm unable to delete.

I can't find the developer on my app store or the app in my purshased items.

I've started my phone, tried deleting it the old fashion way but nada.

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.4

Hello BlueStar345,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities!

If I understand correctly, you are unable to remove an app from your iPhone. Knowing how important keeping as much space available on the phone as possible is, I will try to help.

Just to confirm, it sounds like you have tried the usual steps:

Delete an app

  1. Press and hold the app until it jiggles.
  2. Tap the User uploaded file in the upper-left corner to delete.

You might be asked to confirm that you want to delete the app. If you see a pop-up that says, "Deleting [app name] will also delete all of its data," tap Delete.

If that is not allowing you to delete the app, you can also tap on Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage. Once there, tap on the app, then tap on Delete App.

Have a great day!
