Q: Am I able to have a mac.com and iCloud also?

If you previously set up email accounts with the @me.com or @mac.com, you can continue using those email addresses. Yes, you can also create a new @iCloud.com address. All of them will be directed to your iCloud inbox.

The .mac address will still be active as an alias for your .me address.   If  you sending mail to .mac, it will be received in your .me account.
