Q: Using vocals and guitars/keys multiple outputs

Hello,

I'm planning to play a GIG with MainStage 3 this weekend, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it all work. I sing, and play on keys or on guitars. I add some effects on aux channel strips. I know I could just set channel outputs to hardware outputs, but this will cause me not hearing anything.

So question 1.
Is there a way to send one channel to two independent outputs? for example output 1-2 (as my monitor) and 3-4 for the console?

If not, question 2
The other way I would do it is just to send it to an AUX and then set AUXes output differently. Question then would be - how to send it to aux pre-fader? So me changing the volume won't affect what I'm doing on front

If you like my questions so much that you got through, there's another question asking why my vocal sounds chorus-like in my ears (like there's two inputs with latency, when there's one) I've posted it yesterday, but no-one replied yet

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

    Hi there,

"I know I could just set channel outputs to hardware outputs, but this will cause me not hearing anything."

Why you said that? That should produce sound...

But ok let´s focus on your question.

You should use the option 2 - create a channel in concert level and name it like Keyboard and output that to your 1/2 hardware out and make as much send that you want.

To choose post pan, pre fader or post fader, just hold click in the send and the options will appear.

    Hope this helped you.
