Q: Many of our app users receive connection error form Safari

We have a php Software as a Service (SaaS) application.

The app uses server site cookie's.

Every time a user logs into the app, a new server site cookie will be generated.

Once a user is logged in, this cookie is used until the user logs out.

This works fine for all browsers but not in Safari.

In Safari it works only the first time the cookie is generated.

Returning visitors of our application cannot login anymore after their first time.

When a user logs in the next time, Safari cannot open the page.

After deleting the cookie with 'remove all website data’ the user can login again.

The error message is:

‘Safari can’t open page – because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy.’
