Q: Facecoreembedded

Hello,

 

my iPhoto close every time with the failure text FacecoreEmbedded.

iPhoto '11, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

    Hi LaManzana@,

     

    I see that you're running into an issue where iPhoto is closing unexpectedly and giving you the error message "FacecoreEmbedded". I know it's important to have access to all of your Mac apps, and I'm happy to help!

     

    To begin, I'd recommend that you make a back up of your iPhoto library by opening Finder, navigating to your home folder, opening Pictures, then copy/paste the iPhoto library file somewhere other than your Pictures folder. 

     

    Next, follow the instructions here to rebuild your iPhoto library and see if this resolves the issue you're experiencing:
