Q: Uploaded photos from iphone 6 to mac book forgot to click delete after import

I imported photos from my iPhone 6  to my MacBook Pro and I forgot to check delete after import. The second time I imported I checked it. Now I have duplicates on my MacBook Pro and on the iPhone 6.  How can I delete the rest of those photos from my iPhone without deleting them in my MacBook Pro. I thought I could go on my iPhone 6 and manually delete 4700 photos but when I deleted the first one I literally watched it be deleted off my MacBook Pro.  Why do I feel like I spent hours researching how to use these Apple products they seem to be not user-friendly at all.

1. Imported my photos without checking delete after import. The setting was not there because i was logged to icloud.

2. Imported more photos checking delete after import everything worked fine.

3. Photos of my first import are on mac and iphone.

4. Whats the easy way to get them off my iphone without them coming off e mac as well. When i manualy deleted one from the iphone it came off the mac as well....

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.3
