Q: I updated my iPhone 6s to version 9.3.4 and have No Service, how do I revert back to the previous update?

I updated my iPhone 6s to the latest update (9.3.4) and now have No Service showing at the top. Yesterday I had intermittent service and thought it was the carrier but it's not.  I was using Google Maps and it kept crashing and up would come No Service. Can anyone help me to revert it to the previous update please?

Before posting this question I've turned it off and back on numerous times, I followed all the steps Apple advised including turning Airplane mode on and off, removing the SIM (my carrier replaced it) and resetting the network settings. I can't ring Apple for help and live about 3 hours from an Apple Store.  My phone was working perfectly before installing the update.

You can't revert to a previous version. Did you try the very last suggestion in here?

If you can't connect to a cellular network or cellular data - Apple Support

If you still can't connect to a cellular network, and have confirmed with your carrier that there isn't an issue with your account or network, try restoring your device.

I think you would be best served contacting your carrier now. You have restored your phone and gone though all of the Apple Support recommendations without success, so I think that it makes sense to do so. They may tell you it's on Apple's end, but I still think you should lean on them for more help.

You have an iPhone 6s so it has to still be under warranty and you have that going for you, but I would still start with the carrier and see what they can do to help you.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'd already been to see my carrier yesterday.  This seems to be a very common problem after installing the last update, going by the complaints on here.  This is my comment on one of the many other threads where others have had the exact same issues.

So after doing everything I could without resorting to wiping my phone and starting afresh, I lodged with Apple to "save time on the phone" as they advertised.  Then when I rang on a landline they couldn't find anything, no Case ID, couldn't even find my phone on their system.  What a joke.  I've had to wipe my phone - still came up with NO SERVICE - and in the process of restoring it again, this time a message came up saying there was an update to my carrier services.  It asked if I wanted to download and install it and I clicked yes.  In next to no time the restore started so I don't know if it installed or not, am still waiting on the restore process to finish.  Fingers crossed.

Does this mean that you resolved the issue? If not, I would still rely on the fact that the phone is under warranty (correct?) and take to back to Apple or send it to Apple for service or a replacement.
