Q: Magic Mouse taking ~15 minutes to reconnect after charging
I have a rechargeable Magic Mouse (2?), which has worked perfectly for the past year. But it's now started to take 15 minutes approximately to reconnect to my retina iMac after unplugging it.
I thought the mouse was broken, I tried turning it on and off several times. I managed to use Spotlight to open the Mouse System Preference, it just said "No mouse found".
I even went to the store to buy a cheap wired mouse! By the time I got back it had reconnected. Any ideas? Just gone faulty as soon as it's out of warranty? It also feels warm after it's been charging, could that be related? Is it maybe waiting for itself to cool down? I've tested it a few times now, and happens every time.
Thanks
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
